Black Pepper Essential Oil: The Oil you Didn’t Know you Need!

Black pepper, has a long, fascinating history dates back 2000 BCE. Indigenous to Kerala, India, it was widely exported and was known as “black gold” due to its high trade value!

According to NCBI Black pepper (Piper nigrum) essential oil demonstrates tissue remodelling and metabolism modulating potential in human cells.

Maybe this oil is the the gold you need but just don’t know it yet ;). Well, it’s way more affordable at least.

The warm, sharp scent of pepper oil is comfortingly familiar and reminiscent of freshly cooked food from your grandmothers kitchen.

Diffuser Blends

  • Sandalwood
  • Lavender
  • Cinnamon
  • Rosemary
  • Basil
  • Sweet Orange
  • Ginger
  • Cedarwood
  • Vetiver
  • Lemon
  • Thyme

Get Hot and Steamy

Cleanse yourself at the end of the day with a black pepper essential oil-infused bath. The oil will work wonders to stimulate your mind in a soothing direction and, unwind your body and senses.

  • 2 drops Black Pepper essential oil
  • 3 drops Sweet Orange essential oil
  • 2 drops Lavender essential oil

1. Run the bath water
2. Add essential oils
3. Breathe deeply and feel yourself relax and drift away

Don’t have a bath tub?
Half the quantity and add it to your bucket of hot water or instead dab the mix on your shower head.
Some aromatic candles won’t hurt 🙂

Massage Before Bed? Yes Please!

Setting the mood before crashing can make a world of a difference. Pamper yourself with a calming massage. Give some love to your neck, shoulders, hands and feet!

  • 1 drop Black pepper essential oil
  • 2 drops Lavender essential oil
  • 1 tablespoon sweet almond oil

1. Mix the essential oils with the sweet almond oil oil.
2. Massage with this mixture and be sure to take deep breaths and inhale the aroma!

Use any carrier oil if not sweet almond oil.
Example: Jojoba, Mustard oil, Olive oil, Coconut oil.
Some however, have a distinct aroma – like coconut and mustard!
